How to Craft your own Grappling Hook.
In Enshrouded, the grappling hook is an awesome piece of hardware, designed to shoot towards grappling points and repell you at high speeds towards it, making traversing broken bridges or scaling cliffs a breeze.
Enables you to reach places you couldn't dream of reaching on foot, assisting in finding those hidden chests / escaping to those hard to reach places.

Advantages of a Grappling Hook.
This feels like a no brainer... Would you really rather be stuck standing at the foot of a broken bridge, or at the base of a cliff... contemplating walking the long way around. Or zoom past like a.... a .... man with a grappling hook! The grappling hook allows you to get across large gaps with a single bound, making it easier to traverse the world both quickly and safely.

How to Build Grappling Hook
Scavaging and crafting the grappling hook
Main material you need to collect is "shroud spores" 10 to be procise, It can be easily found looting the dead enemies found in the enshrouded forests.
You need to craft 7 pieces of string first and scavage 4 metal shards, will discover shards from loot crates / chests, but more easily obtained by simply destroying all objects and salvaging the scrap.
Crafting the Grappling Hook
Once you have enough shroud spores, string and scrap metal, get your butt to a workbench, to begin crafting the basic grappling hook. T See also our Article on "Survival and Exploration", for more indepth dive into scaveging the the right resources.
Grappling Mechanics - Stamina Usage
Activating the grappling hook for the frst time is a thrilling experience, repelling the player towards the grappling spot quickly and safely across the world. Find and reach hidden cliffs, allowing you to quickly move, and even escape enemies to high / unreachable cover.
Use the unlocks new areas that were previously unreachable.
Just remember, the Grappling hook consumes stamina rapidly "25 stamina per use", will need to stop and regain health or the use of stamina potions before you can resume grappling!

An Enshrouded Grappling hook, is a piece hook attached to a rope, that you can shoot at any grappling point. Instantly lauching you towards the point in esssence (web slinging) though the air.
Grappling Hook cannot be found in the world of enshrouded. Your going to have to scavage and craft them yourself.
To build a wingsuit, you need to first Scavage, Metal Scraps (4), String (7), Shroud Spores(10).
Then, get to your workbench, (note: option will appear only when you have the right parts)
You are going to require Metal Scraps (4), String (7) and Shroud Spores (10).
The Metal Scraps can be looted from chests / salvaged from destroying random objects.
String can be looted off enemies / or crafted on the workbench.
Shroud Spores can be found on dead enemies / chests / shoud root or just general found along you journey.
To activate the grappling hook, use 'e' when ever you see the grapple symbol appear. (Default button on the PC version)
You will use 25 stamina per grapple.
